Bankole Olabode's oil and newspaper print on canvas unveils a pungent editorial on the #EndSARS saga by Nigeria's oldest surviving, privately-owned newspaper, Nigerian Tribune. The editorial titled, "Our paradise lost, The Pains, struggles of the youth," mirrors the plight of the nation's youths.
The headline which alludes to a poem, "Paradise Lost," by English poet, John Milton," captures the challenges faced by the youth in the hands of inefficient governance and overzealous cops attached to the now disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
