A journalist, Abisola Alawode, who produces this #EndSARS documentary, is a victim of police brutality himself. He was at the Lekki toll gate; venue of the 2020 #EndSARS protests’ first anniversary. He became a victim as cops swooped on him and bundled him into a Black Maria. He was later released after intense lobbying by stakeholders. But like many other victims, he lives with the trauma.
