    Floyd was arrested after a shop clerk reported him for using a counterfeit bill.

    Police Officer Derek Chauvin was recorded arresting and restraining Floyd. The video shows Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck for 9 minutes, during which Floyd repeatedly says he cannot breathe.

    Floyd ultimately dies in police custody.
